 Introduction to computer system

A computer and all its hardware & software component are computer system.

Definition of computer system: A computer system is defined as a digital electronic machine that can programmed to perform some operations as per the computer program instructions.

The computer system components are:

• Input device
• CPU(Central Processing Unit)
• System Memory
• Output device

Concept of hardware and software:

          Hardware component are physical Component that we can touch. eg. hard disk, RAM, keyboard, mouse, monitor etc.,

         Software component are set of instruction that used for operations. it is opposite of hardware. we can't touch the software components. eg. operating system, complier, MS word, MS excel, interpreter etc.
